Dr. David Waters received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) degree from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in May, 1995. The following month, he and Dr. Orlando moved to Sisterdale, Texas, and opened their practice. He especially enjoys working with "backyard livestock" such as pet pigs and goats and cows. Another satisfaction comes from educating clientele who are new to farm animal ownership about the varied needs of each species. Dr. Waters is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, as well as the Kerrville Area VMA. Dr. Whitney Orlando also graduated from the LSU-SVM, class of 1992. After practicing in an all feline clinic (where the seed was planted to make housecalls) and a busy small animal clinic, she decided to try out the idea of a mobile practice with her husband. It worked, and has paved the way for many others more recently. Her special interests lie in caring for senior pets and feline behavioral issues. Dr. Orlando has professional membership in the American VMA, Texas VMA, and Kerrville Area VMA.
